Attorney at the Paris Bar since 2006, after a 25-year career in the oil industry (Mobil and ExxonMobil), Jean-François has extensive experience of business law in France, Africa, and Mauritius.

Jean-François advises companies and individuals operating or wishing to invest in France, Africa, or Mauritius. He is a specialist of Mauritius, where he was born, and has many clients there in the fields of banking, industry, publishing, and tourism. He regularly assists clients wishing to settle or invest there, particularly in luxury real estate. Today, he is increasingly consulted by French and Mauritian clients on estate matters.

Career:
Jean-François Colin spent 25 years in the corporate world before joining the Paris Bar. He worked in Paris, Philadelphia, New York, and Brussels, working as:

Jean-François is a graduate of the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University, Washington, D.C. – Juris Doctor (1981). He also holds a Postgraduate degree (D.E.A.) in Foreign law cum laude from Paris I University (Panthéon-Sorbonne) (1978) and a Master’s degree in Law cum laude, Paris I University (Panthéon-Sorbonne) (1977)
